Bboy Junior

Bosila Banya, called Bboy junior was born in Zaïr, central Africa. He moved to France at 5 where he discover break-dance, his dream was to become a break-dancer. But he suffered from polio to his leg, so he had a shorter leg than the other . So it wasn't easy for him to run, walk, and especially to dance.
He started break dance in 1997, he created a new style, his own style, especially using his arms because of his handicap, and pursued break-dance with dedication, mentored by others break-dancers. He turned his disability to an advantage, in 2001 he joined the wanted posse crew (french crew), and become one of the best break-dancer of the world by woning lot of battles, International competitions (world championship 2001,...) and the French contest 'Incroyable Talent' in 2007! A real reward because he trained hard to compensate his handicap, and he won a real notoriety with a lot of fans.
At the beginning of the video you can see that he walks with a limp, and you are going to see that he turned his disability to an advantage! You can see that he uses his arms over his leg because of his disability, so you can't really see his leg but there are a lot of video of him on Internet, like on his website : http://www.b-boyjunior.com/.

A lot of history for a good place

It's my first year in Grenoble too, so I don't know many places, but there are a park with a tower that I already see when I go to the university with the tram C, between "Chavant" and "Hotel de ville". That's why I wanted to know, as an history student, what was it goal.
It's the Tower Perret, high from 83 meters, built in 1924 by the Perret's brothers for the universal exposition. For the inauguration, approximatively one million visitors were in the park to visit the tower and the other buildings in the park (when there was 80 000 people living in Grenoble). It's built in the middle of a park Mistral, where it's possible to walk, to jog, to look at this tower full of history. In the park there are a river, an animal park,.It goal was to overhang the city, to observe and to found your way. She was used too for the radio.
In 1998 she had been classified like historical monument, and now she isn't in good condition to be open to the public, because it could be dangerous.

Myself

Hello, my name's Thomas, I'm 19, I live in Grenoble since september 2010, I'm in my first year of license and I study history.
Normally I live in the south of France, a small village called Bouchet, near by Avignon.
I think to speak English is very important in the life, I wanted to speak it well but I know I have to work because I already do a lot of faults, and my vocabulary isn't complete.
I like music, especially rap music from the united states so I try to understand what they say, but I listen to a lot of kind of music.
I like sports, I played handball last semester and many years before.
I like films, and sometimes I watch them in English because I think it's good to understand some words, for the pronunciation, and to complete your vocabulary.
